Android from smartphone to robotic appliances?

Google is clearly one the leaders in cloud computing and the most successful example of AI based business. Would it make sense an 'android' extension designed to manage small 'robots' performing tasks in the physical world?

Looking for keywords

Networked robotics and Grid, an exciting perspective for the future and challenging puzzle for today.

I am looking for shared keywords to start. Mine are QoS and Service Level Agreement.
